Lisa Payne, LMT
Lisa Payne is a licensed massage therapist who has been practicing since 2017. Her work focuses particularly on myofascial release, structural bodywork, deep tissue massage, and helping clients recover from injuries and persistent musculoskeletal discomfort.
Lisa graduated from the Lane Community College Massage Therapy Program and has continued to broaden her clinical skills through additional training in myofascial release, lymphatic drainage, abdominal and psoas work, cupping, gua sha, and Reiki.
Myofascial & Structural Bodywork
Myofascial work is a major component of Lisa’s approach to massage therapy. Rather than working only where a client feels pain or tightness, Lisa may assess tension and restriction in surrounding areas that can influence movement and contribute to discomfort.
This broader approach can be particularly useful when muscular tension involves several interconnected regions of the body rather than one isolated area.
Lisa combines myofascial techniques with deeper therapeutic work when appropriate, adapting the session to each client’s comfort, goals, and presentation.
Injury Recovery
Helping clients recover from injuries is another important focus of Lisa’s practice.
Her treatment approach draws from her experience with deep tissue massage, myofascial techniques, structural bodywork, and targeted therapeutic massage. Because injuries and recovery patterns vary considerably from person to person, Lisa adjusts her treatment based on what she finds during each session rather than following a single standardized approach.
Her goal is to help clients reduce muscular restriction, improve comfortable movement, and support their return to normal activities.
